For 23 years, I have been flattered when my clients tell me that I’m not the typical management consultant.

What they mean is that I don’t speak in mystifying consulting-ease, I don’t practice hubris, I tell them the truth (even when it is the ugly truth), I want to simply partner with them to solve their business challenges without preconceived notions, and I cater the fix to their needs — not with the dreaded over-used template.

Many of my friends from Coppei and I were professionally bred from the Big 5 consulting firms, and we are grateful for the rigor, discipline and training we acquired from the Big 5.  However, as experienced consultants from the Big 5, we are valued for more than just that at Coppei.  We are valued for those intangible characteristics that make Coppei Partners unique from other firms…  we hire people who are honest, persevere through tough challenges, and genuinely care about our clients – these are our core beliefs and it naturally enables us to bring the best solution to our clients.

My friends at Coppei and I believe in providing actionable strategy and plans to make our clients’ business better and compete faster with their competitors.  It’s straightforward and it does not need a superhero decoding ring to understand the solution.  I finally found a firm in which we are simpatico in how we help clients – it is a very good place to be.
